Tessitura Attilio Bottinelli was founded on May 1931 by Mr Attilio Bottinelli and his sons Domenico, Paolo, Piero and Daniele.

The geographical location in the Como area characterizes the products: textiles and ties.

Business begins with the production of jacquard tie fabrics.

Since those years, due to an innovative choice which will also prove itself winning, target market will be the export one.

There is where the quality, the taste and the exclusive Italian taste of Bottinelli are appreciated the most.

But all these are not enough and Tessitura Bottinelli is aware of that. They fell the need, not only to meet the new demands of customers and markets, but to anticipate them through a flexible, customer-devoted, quick response organisation.

The company therefore invests considerably in new machinery and equipments and enlarges its structure introducing, in the middle of sixties, prints and polyester fabrics and later prints on silk and natural fibers.

Further business is acquired through the introduction of new "microfiber" yarns and new blended qualities (silk, cotton etc).

A new "corporate" departments is opened making special personalised items on customers's request.
